Commands belongs to a family whose history is as rich as that of any royal house. 
Every branch of Commands’ maternal pedigree contributes to a virtual Who’s Who of Australasian racing. From his great-grand dam Klairessa to his brother Danewin and in every direction in between, the champions appear.

Two generations back is the mare Eight Carat, an unexceptional galloper who produced the exceptional racehorses Octagonal, Mouawad, Kaapstad, Marquise and Diamond Lover. Marquise is the dam of Group One winner Shower Of Roses while Diamond Lover has built a reputation almost as impressive as her dam’s. Her offspring include the Group One winners Don Eduardo and Tristalove. In turn, Tristalove has produced Viking Ruler, Peruzzi and Kempinsky as well as Antwerp, the dam of Viscount.

Commands is out of one Eight Carat’s unraced daughter Cotehele House (My Swanee) the dam of eight winners including the stakes winner and successful sire Danewin.

Command’s is well on the road to success already 14 of his progeny have made it to the racetrack with his son Picket Fence winning the Listed MRC Debutant Stakes.

Insurgents finished third in the VRC Maribyrnong P-G2 while Liege finished third in the MRC Blue Diamond Preview for Colts-G3. Commands, daughter Commands Nothin has strung together three dominant wins including the rich AJC Inglis 2YO Classic.
